RWU Launches Interdisciplinary Master's Degree in Real Estate

Far from merely buying and selling homes, the field of real estate is expanding rapidly and the factors that impact the ability to access, afford, build, and sustain housing are incredibly complex. This new program, and an accompanying graduate certificate, offers wide-ranging coursework that spans topics in design, finance, management, construction, regulatory affairs, environmental conditions, and social policy. The degree can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis with fully asynchronous online coursework and two dynamic in-person residency experiences; one our campus in Bristol, Rhode Island and one in New York City.

A Tale of Two Campuses

¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ students at RWU study at one of two campuses: our main campus, situated on scenic Mount Hope Bay in Bristol, RI, and our metro campus, located in the heart of the state capital, Providence, RI. Each campus plays a vital role in the University's commitment to supporting and growing the local economy and providing vital resources to nonprofit organizations, corporations, and municipal governments throughout the State of Rhode Island.

Learn by Doing

Success often begins outside the classroom for RWU graduate students. Whether you take part in an internship, practicum, community-based project, study abroad experience, or comprehensive research project, your educational journey at RWU extends far beyond the walls of a traditional classroom.

A Personalized Education

With an average five-to-one student/faculty ratio, graduate students are anything but anonymous at RWU. You'll be more than a name to your professors - students often land coveted internships and careers because of the deep bonds they form with their graduate faculty.

Commitment to Community

Honoring the legacy of Roger Williams, an impassioned 17th century public servant who fought feverishly for religious freedom and social justice, education at RWU provides degree programs that are not only personally enriching, but also focus on deliberately connecting students to the community through classroom-based projects, internships, and service learning. Many of these opportunities are connected to the University’s Community Partnerships Center, the interdisciplinary hub for projects of all kinds that connect nonprofit organizations, government agencies, community-based organizations, and others to RWU students.
