Eliana Greenstein Himle- M. Architecture, 2024

What made you choose to study at RWU over other schools?
When I joined RWU for my undergrad it just felt like the right community and size of school, but as I spent more time at RWU it became my second home. The 4+1.5 program made continuing to get my M. Arch a no brainer.
Your favorite things to do around campus (if applicable):
Go to Colt State Park, and walk around downtown Bristol and downtown Warren.
What stood out about your academic or classroom experience at RWU?
The professors are very knowledgeable and always willing to help in any way they can.
Did you complete an internship, practicum, or other field experience as part of your graduate program? Please describe:
Yes, I was an intern at KBA. I got my foot into the door due to the relationship that the RWU Architecture program has with my firm.
How as your graduate degree or certificate prepared you for success?
I am working at the architecture firm KBA and well into the process of becoming a licensed Architect.
What advice would you give students planning to go to graduate school?
The workload is a lot to adjust to, but academics shouldn't be all consuming. Taking time to hang with friends and do things that you enjoy will help prevent overwhelming burnout!
